Lenovo Brings International Street Dance Competition to the Philippines!

Lenovo brings Dance Delight, one of the biggest, most phenomenal international street dance competitions in the world, to Philippine shores.

“We’re very excited about this contest as it represents what our brand campaign, For Those Who Do, is all about – enabling talented individuals to take action and turn their dreams to reality,” said Vicky Agorrilla, Country General Manager, Lenovo Philippines. “Through Dance Delight, we would like to create, grow and sustain a Doer community by providing avenues and tools for Doers and mentors to leave their mark in this world as they live their passion for dancing and fulfill their dreams.”
Dance Delight was at the forefront of the new wave of street dance culture in Japan when it was created by Mitsuhiro Harada also known as Machine, the legendary leader of Angel Dust Breakers break dance team. Sixteen years later and Dance Delight has gained worldwide recognition with participation from various cities such as Paris (France), New York (USA), Taipei (Taiwan), Shanghai (China), Seoul (Korea) and Singapore and now, the Philippines.
If you think you have what it takes to make it, then flex those muscles, brush off those dancing shoes and upload your video for the Dance Delight Volume 1! Registration is open until February 11, 2013.
Twenty five teams will be pre-selected to compete live at the Irwin Theater, Ateneo de Manila University. The top three winning teams will get a chance to battle it out in the regional finals to be held in Singapore this April. The Dance Delight champion team will be fully sponsored by Lenovo Philippines.
To register or to find out more about the contest, visit Lenovo Philippines on Facebook at www.facebook.com/lenovophilippines. Dance Delight is open to residents of the Philippines who are at least 15 years of age as of January 1, 2013.
